comments-section-Jerome.jpg“When I consider the path my career has taken, I really believe that working for Talent Tree has had the most impact on moving me out of my comfort zone and challenging me to set goals and really grow on a personal level.”

What's the best thing about working at Talent Tree?
I really love that Talent Tree has such a "small town" feel even though it's a big corporation. I worked in retail for 13 years and the attitude of the "home office" toward those of us in the field was sort of an us/them mentality. At Talent Tree I really feel like we're one big family, and that's something that our associates just sense when they meet us in our branch. I've had so many associates comment on that. Something like that doesn't happen accidentally.

What do you like most about your job?
I love helping our associates find employment.  It makes such a positive impact in their lives, and being a part of that feels good. I also really love working with our clients and helping them find good people to meet their staffing needs. Making that great match is a "win-win".

How would you describe the culture at Talent Tree?
I think that Talent Tree's culture is really people-centered. We don't just pay lip service to offering good customer service or caring about our associates, we actually practice that on a daily basis. I feel respected and valued as an employee of Talent Tree and that inspires me to not only be a good employee, but also to be my best self.

How do you think Talent Tree is different from other companies where you've worked?
Before coming to Talent Tree, I worked as a teacher. The staff at the school was very close, and I never imagined I would find that sort of atmosphere again. I'm happy to say that Talent Tree has really been amazing. I definitely feel like I'm part of a team and that there's excellent support and encouragement for me to do my job well and to grow professionally.

What makes Talent Tree a good fit for you?
I’m the type of person who can become bored quite easily, so I love that challenge of working in staffing. No two days are ever the same. I'm also rather altruistic, and I need to feel that the work I do helps people. I really believe that the work I do makes a valuable contribution to the associates I meet and to the business community of San Francisco.

There‘s always a Supervisor who looks to Talent Tree when they need guidance — that feels great.  When I first walked in the doors I thought “Oh my gosh, it’s a big place and I can do it. “ If I am asked a question and don’t have the answer, I know that I have at my fingertips the Talent Tree chain of commands that will get the answer.  We are the roots of knowledge.
